DODA, Sept 9: Police today rescued 21 bovine animals, which were being smuggled by one Ghulam Qadir of Bharatha Doda.
Reports said that acting on specific information a police party intercepted Ghulam Qadir and asked him to produce valid permission for transporting the bovine animals. Instead of producing the permission, the accused tried to flee from the spot but was arrested by police.
A case in this connection has been registered.
