“2019 electoral battle”

Sir,
Keeping in view the uncertain political condition in the country, 2019 is proving to be the year of turning point in the electoral history of India on the one hand BJP is trying to continue its rule further at the centre. But on the other hand, the whole opposition wants to dislodge BJP from the throne in 2019 at any cost.
It is seen that BJP’s graph seems to be decreasing after repeated defeats in Bi-elections during 2018.
Taking advantage of BJP’s limping postures the whole opposition including regimal parties are working overtime to forge a grand alliance in order to defeat Modi.
BJP despite launching, fantastic credible schemes, having best ever foreign policy and working in honest and transparent manner has failed to silence opposition and satisfy the common masses.
What has gone wrong with BJP? Reasons are clear. Congress and other regional parties are successfully explioting farmers and lower castes. Despite redressing some farmers’ grievances, the party has failed to satisfy their aspirations.
It is true that BJP has a strong urban and  middle class vote bank. But unfortunately during elections urban vote percentage is always less than the ruler vote percentage Middle class voters are with BJP but they  hardly come out to vote  in bulk.
Recent trend indicates that the age old caste and communal based politics still works. Corruption seems to be a non issue during elections which goes against BJP.
BJP desperately needs to penetrate into opposition strong holds with its four years performance. Moreover, it needs to woo more and more coalition partners whereever possible to avoid division of votes.
It is now hoped that Modi Government at the Centre would concentrate more vigorously in fullfilling its unfinished promises and programmes  with authority and confidence.
Let us hope it to do well and survive in the best interest of the country.
