JAMMU, June 4: Nagrota Police rescued 20 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Nagrota Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK02AS-8717.
During checking, police team rescued 20 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Mohammad Mussa, son of Mohammad Ayub and Mohammad Fareed, son of Raj Malli, both residents of Qazigund, District Anantnag.
A case under FIR Number 237/19 under section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
