JAMMU, Aug 29: City Judge Jammu, Abdul Nasir today awarded two years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 5000 to Raj Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of Krishan Nagar, who attempted to outrage modesty of woman on May 8, 2009 in Canal Road area. The Court further directed that the fine if realized should be paid to victim as compensation.
After hearing Senior PO Anshuman Dubey for the State, City Judge observed, “in the light of proved entry of the accused in the room of complainant the act of the attempt to outrage the modesty of the complainant has also been proved”.
Accordingly, the Court awarded two years RI and fine of Rs 5000 to the accused.
