JAMMU, Sept 13: Kahna Chak police seized two vehicles having same model and number plates and arrested one person.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Kahna Chak while patrolling duty in Kangrail received an information through reliable source that two vehicles having same model and same number plates bearing registration number PB11CS-6868 was kept in the premises of Verma Nand, son of Shiv Ram of Kangrail, rented by Akash Company.
It is cleared that the both the vehicles will be used for illegal business, fraud and tax evasion.
Care taker of vehicles identified as Prem Lal, son of Mohan Lal of Punjab has been arrested and both the vehicles were seized.
A case under FIR Number 149/2020 under Sections 420, 465, 468 and 471 IPC has been registered at Kahna Chak Police Station and investigation started after seizing both the vehicles.
The arrest was made by SHO Kahna Chak Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul and SP Rural Suram Singh.
