UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: Udhampur Police today seized two vehicles involved in illegal transportation of construction material under the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
A Police team, headed by I/C PP Tikri, Abdul Satar and assisted by Insp Rajesh Sharma, SHO Rehmbal, seized two tippers having registration number JK14B 7329 and JK02BB 4055, which were indulged in illegal extraction/transporting of construction material from river bed.
Both the seized vehicles were immediately handed over to the officials of Geology and Mining Department Udhampur for further legal proceedings. The overall drive was conducted under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
