RAJOURI, June 24: The police seized two Tata Mobile vehicles along with 14 bovine animals in district Rajouri last night.
A police spokesman said that a police party from Rajouri during naka near Kallar intercepted Tata mobile vehicle No. JK01G/6297 and found four bovine animals loaded in it. The police party seized the vehicle along with cattle and arrested two persons in this connection. They were identified as Nazakat Hussain, son of Noor Hussain from Grad village in Rajouri and Rafaqat Hussain, son of Mohd Sadiq from Titripur in Srinagar.
Another police party led by SHO Rajouri, during another nakka at Salani bridge seized ten bovine animals and seized a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK02AP/1957 last night. The smugglers however managed to escape. A case under FIR was registered in this connection.
