RAMBAN, Nov 21: Chief Education Officer (CEO) suspended two teachers for remaining absent.
As per official spokesman, CEO visited Government Primary School, Kothari, Zone Batote today at 11:45 am and found the school locked. The students were found wondering here and there in the school premises.
“All the teachers of the said school were found absent from the duty”, he said, adding that the local people and Lalita Devi, Panch on spot confirmed that the teachers are not attending the school.
The spokesman stated that in order to ascertain the fact, a committee having Deputy CEO Ramban and ZEO Batote has been constituted, which will submit the detailed report to CEO within week’s time.
“Till pending enquiry, CEO ordered suspension of two teachers of Government Primary School, Kothari namely Rita Devi and Shivani Kholi with immediate effect”, the spokesman added.
