2 shopkeepers arrested for selling illicit liquor

DODA, Feb 23: Bhaderwah police arrested two shopkeepers for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhaderwah Police Station conducted raid in a vegetable shop at Bhadrote and arrested the owner along with 14 pouches of illicit liquor, which he was selling among the people to make illegitimate profits. The accused has been identified as Anil Sharma, son of Hans Raj Sharma of Bhadrote Sartingal.
The team also conducted raid in a chicken shop and arrested the shopkeeper, who was selling illicit liquor to the masses. Police also recovered 15 pouches of illicit liquor from the shop. The arrested person has been identified as Rohit Kumar, son of Om Parkash Goswami of Bhadrote Sartingal.
Cases under FIR Number 16/18 and 17/18 have been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
