2 security personnel killed in blast in northwest Pak

PESHAWAR, Mar 3: At least two security personnel were killed and five others injured today in a IED blast targeting a convoy of the Frontier Corps in northwest Pakistan’s Khyber Agency.
Security sources said a convoy of Frontier Corps (FC) personnel was travelling from Landi Kotal tehsil to Jamrud. As the vehicle reached Sadukhel, it struck a roadside Improvised Explosive Device (IED), police said.
Two security personnel were killed whereas five others sustained injuries.
Nobody has so far claimed responsibility for the attack but it occurred just two days after the Pakistani Taliban announced a month-long ceasefire aimed at resuming the stalled peace talks with the PML-N Government. (AGENCIES)
