UDHAMPUR, Jan 3: Two pedestrians were injured by rashly driven vehicles in separate road mishaps across Udhampur today.
A middle aged woman, identified as Gudoo Devi (55), wife of Kaka Ram of Rathian, was injured when an unidentified vehicle hit her while crossing road at Rathian. People shifted here to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another road mishap, Pardeep Varmani, son of Ravender Varmani of Firojpur Kolkata, presently putting up at Jakhani, was hit by a minibus while walking on the roadside near Railway Station Udhampur. He was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
