SRINAGAR, Aug 14: The Government accorded sanction to the award of Chief Minister’s Vigilance Medal in favour of two officers of the State Government for displaying conspicuous and exemplary courage in exposing corruption and creating awareness against corrupt practices for the year 2013 on the eve of Independence Day.
The award comprised a medal, cash prize of Rs. 51,000 and a certificate.
The officers in whose favour the awards are accorded are ADC, Srinagar, Ghulam Mohammad Dar, then ADC, Anantnag and Private Secretary to Director of Vigilance, Mohammad Hussain.
