JAMMU, Jan 4: Two passengers were killed while two others injured in a road accident at Bagnoti in Nowshera sector of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that at around 11:45 hrs today, a bus bearing Registration No. JK02AX-1677 driven by unknown driver, which was on its way to Jammu from Rajouri collided with a car bearing Registration No. JK02 BN- 7552 at Bagnoti Dandesar, in Nowshera.
The car was being driven by Mohd Ans, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Gambir Mogla, in Manjakote. He was travelling along with wife namely, Saima Kousar and his two sons, Danish and Mohiz Ahmed to Rajouri from Jammu side.

All the four car borne persons Mohd Anis, his wife Saima and two children Danish and Mohiz got critically injured. Two of them including Saima Kousar and Danish succumbed to their injuries while being shifted to SDH, Nowshera. Other two, father and son were later removed to GMC Jammu from SDH Nowshera in an Army helicopter.
The Police party led by SHO Noushera Rajesh Jasrotia and Traffic Police official, Anil Kumar with the help of Army launched rescue operation and shifted them to local hospital from where two were airlifted to Jammu in an Army chopper which was timely arranged by Nowshera brigade of Indian Army. Negligence on the part of bus driver was said to be the reason behind the accident. The driver escaped from the spot after accident. The police has registered a case in this connection. Search for bus driver has been launched.
