KATHUA July 22 : Kathua police seized six grams of heroin and arrested two notorious drug peddlers wanted for spread of drugs in the area.
Team of Police Station Kathua under the directions of Inspector, Sanjeev Chib SHO apprehended two notorious drug peddlers namely Jeewan Kumar @ Jeeva and Lakshman Dass both S/o Nek Raj resident of Chak Drab Khan from near Kuliyan area in Kathua and seized 6 grams of heroin in their possession.
Police Station Kathua registered a case FIR No. 239/19 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act against both the accused. Further investigation into the case is going on.
Kathua Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace. The Kathua police has appealed the people of the area to come forward and share information about drug peddling or consumption with Police for the cause.
