DODA, June 20: Police today arrested two narcotic smugglers along with 10 kilograms of poppy straw.
A police spokesman said that, party of police post Pul Doda deployed for routine naka checking intercepted two persons namely Raj Kumar, son of Krishan Lal and Sanjay Kumar, son of Durga Dass, both residents of Batote, district Ramban.
During checking, police recovered 10 kilograms of poppy straw and arrested both the narcotic smugglers.
A case under FIR 116/14 under Section 8/15 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at police station Doda against the accused persons and investigation started.
