2 Mumbai smugglers held with charas

JAMMU, July 6: Police today arrested two narcotics smugglers of Mumbai from Greater Kailash area under the jurisdiction of Gangyal police station and recovered 4 kg charas from their possession.
Police identified the narcotics smugglers as Mehboob Abdul Hai, 35, son of Abdul Hai R/o Bhai Galla, West Mumbai and Jalaludin, 38, son of Farid-ud-Din Shah R/o Mudgoan, Mumbai.
Police trapped both the narcotics smugglers as Greater Kailash during a naka laid by a police team headed by SHO Gangyal Inspector Surinder Khadyal and ASI Ahmed Din under the supervision of SP City (South) Rajeshwar Singh.
From their possession, police recovered 4 kg charas, which they had been smuggling here to Mumbai.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered at Gangyal police station against the accused at Gangyal police station for further investigations.
