SRINAGAR, May 9: Two minor girls have drowned in a stream in a village Kupwara district.
A police spokesman said Bilkeesa, 7, daughter of Gulzar Ahmad Awan and Gulshana daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Awan of Affan slipped and drowned in a stream at Affan village in Lalpora, Kupwara.
“Their bodies have been fished out and handed over to their relatives for last rites,” the spokesman said.
