2 Masters suspended for dereliction of duty

UDHAMPUR, May 25: Chief Education Officer (CEO) Udhampur, Balbir Singh, conducted a surprise visit of various schools and ordered suspension of two Masters for dereliction of duty.
At Government High School, Dubbi Gali Panchari, two Masters namely Suresh Kumar and Kuldeep Kumar were found habitual of being irregular in the school on one pretext or the other.
Suresh Kumar (Mathematics teacher) had taught only one lesson out of 12 to the students of 10th class whereas he had not taken any class of the students of 9th and 8th class’s since February 28
Kuldeep Kumar, who was teaching Science, had taught only five lessons out of 16 to the students of 10th class whereas he had taught only four lessons out of 14 to the students of 9th class and two lessons out of 17 to the 8th class since February 28.
Taking serious cognizance of dereliction of duty, the CEO orders stoppage of salary of both the Masters besides their suspension with immediate effect.
