RAJOURI/ POONCH, Nov 10: Two persons were killed in separate road accidents in Rajouri and Poonch districts today.
A police spokesman said that in a truck-car collision at Madana in Surankote area, the car driver was killed. He has been identified as Altaf Ahmed, son of Lal Hussain, resident of Jarran Wali Gali. The police party rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Surankote hospital. The truck was seized but its driver escaped from the spot.
Meanwhile, a bus bearing No. JK02AJ/ 5186 hit one Satpal, son of Ram Lal, resident of Dassal village in Rajouri this afternoon. He was rushed to Rajouri hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police registered a case in this connection. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after postmortem.
