UDHAMPUR, July 4: One person died and two others were critically injured when their car collided with a tractor near Jaganoo Morh Stani at Dhar road Udhampur while a Scooty rider was knocked to death by a truck near Sudhmahadev in Chenani.
According to the reports, a Tractor (JK14B-2875), loaded with water tanks, collides with a Maruti Alto car without number near Jaganoo Morh Stani this afternoon around 3pm, resulting into critical injuries to three persons.
Locals and Police shifted the injured persons to Government District Hospital Udhampur, where doctors declared one of them as brought dead and referred the other two to GMC Jammu Hospital in view of their serious condition.
The deceased was identified as Mohamed Altaf Lone (33), son of Mohamed Sarwar Lone of Bandipura Kashmir. The injured were identified as Sameer Ahmed (25), son of Sanaullah Rather and Imityaz Ahmed (24), son of Abdul Gafoor Wani, both resident of Bandipura Kashmir.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a Scooty (JK14E-9250) was hit by a Truck (JK14A-7661) near Sudhmahadev resulting into death of the Scooty rider, identified as Surinder Kumar (40), son of Bhagat Ram of Sudhmahadev.
