POONCH, Aug 30: Two persons were killed when the car, they were travelling in, fell into deep gorge in Marrah area of Bufliaz, tehsil Surankote, here this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Imran Ahmed, son of Abdul Qayoom and Abid Hussain, son of Mohd Sadiq, both residents of village Marrah. They reportedly died on the spot.
Official sources said that the Eeco car, bearing Registration number JK06- 5429, was on its way from Marrah towards Bufliaz when it skidded off the road and slipped into deep gorge at Khath Marrah area, resulting into death of both the persons.
Some locals shifted the victims to Sub District Hospital Surankote where doctors declared them as brought dead.
After postmortem and other legal formalities, the bodies were handed over to the family members for the last rites.
