JAMMU: At least two people were killed and five others injured when a taxi they were travelling in met with an accident in Doda district.
“A taxi (JK06-3384) this morning met with an accident when it was on way from Phagsoo towards Thathri,” police here said.
They said two persons died on the spot and five others got injured. They said two injured have been shifted to District hospital whereas three others were under treatment at SDH Thathri.
“Bodies of two dead have been handed over to their families,” they said.
The deceased were identified as driver Mohammad Ashraf, son of Mohammad Sharif and Ghulam Ali, son of Samda Malik, both residents of Phagsoo.
Meanwhile, the injured were Shabir Ahmed,32, Touseef Ahmed, Javed Ahmed, Sadam Hussain and Mohammad Farooq. (AGENCIES)
