SRINAGAR, Oct 25: Two persons died while as four others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JKE/5624 collided with a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05C/6152 at Matipora-Drugmulla, Kupwara, resulting in on spot death of one person namely Sharief-ud-Din-Bukhari, aged 70 years, son of Qutub-ud-Din resident of Kreeri-Pattan and other two persons Naseer-ud-Din Bukhari, aged 32 years, son of Shams-ud-Din and Salah-ud-Din Bukhari, aged 43 years, son of Qutub-ud-Din Bukhari resident of Kreeri Pattan got injured.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment where from they were referred to SKIMS-Soura for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Ford Figo hit and injured three children namely Gousia aged 12 years, daughter of Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Surash-Khag, Uzma aged 11 years, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Sail and Yawar Wani aged 10 years, son of Farooq Ahmad Wani resident of Sail at Sail-Beerwah, Budgam. Uzma succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS-Soura Srinagar while as the other two are under treatment. A case was registered in this regard.
