2 injured in Pulwama blast

SRINAGAR, July 20: Two boys were injured as a bomb exploded at Bamnoo village where an encounter had raged in the first week of this month in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that an unexploded shell went off near the encounter site at Bamnoo village and resulted in injuries to two boys identified as 16-year old Muzzamil Ahmad Khan alias Wakeel and 24-year old Umar Ahmad Khan. While Muzzamil sustained splinter injuries in his hand, Umar sustained abdomen and chest wounds.
Both the injured youth were shifted to hospital for treatment. Later both the injured were referred to SMHS Hospital of Srinagar for treatment. The ecnounter at Bamnoo raged on July 3.
