REASI, Sept 5: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured when their bike skidded off the road near Aghar Jitto, here today.
The injured, identified as Ravinder Sharma (36), son of Lambu Ram of Katra and Lal Singh (40), son of Dil Man of Gool Sangaldan, have been shifted to CHC Katra.
Meanwhile, a man from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a Nullah behind Stadium in Katra, here today.
An Aadhar Card, found from possession of the deceased, established identity of the dead man as Arjun Verma, son of Hukku Verma, resident of 109/20 Model House Aminabad, Lucknow, UP. Clothes of the deceased were found around 100 meters away from the body.
Police shifted the body to CHC Katra for postmortem and registered a case in this connection under Section 174 CRPC for further investigation.
