RAMBAN, Oct 11: Two persons were injured in accidents here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Abdul Lateef Mir (45), son of Ghulam Rasool Mir, a resident of Chareel, Tehsul Banihal received injuries after his bike slipped at Darshipura area of Banihal police jurisdiction.
The injured biker has been shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal, where he was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Banihal police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, a driver received injuries, when the truck he was driving rolled down into 400 feet deep gorge near Digdol, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramban Police Station.
The injured driver identified as Arun Kumar, son of Ram Nath, a resident of Moga, Punjab was shifted to District Hospital Ramban, from where he was later referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
A case in this regard has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
