JAMMU, May 17: Two drug peddlers were arrested with 10 grams of heroin from Belicharana area here today.
A police official said that during routine checking of vehicles at RNB Chowk Belicharana, an Alto K10 (JK03N-1563) coming from Satwari side towards Belicharana was signalled to stop.
Upon conducting the personal search of the occupants of the car identified as Bilal Ahmad Shaksaz and Nadeem Ahmed Khan of Anantnag District, 10 grams of heroin-like-substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, the police spokesperson said that the accused were arrested and booked in case FIR number 91/2024 Under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Satwari and further investigation taken up.
