RAJOURI, May 17: In a prompt action, two youth were arrested by police from Shahdra Sharief in Thannamandi, for disrobing and intending to outrage the modesty of a woman.
Those arrested are identified as Mohd Ashraf, son of Mohd Latief, a resident of Bella in Tehsil Khawas of district Rajouri and Mohd Afzal, son of Mohd Shafi, a resident of Hinder Gali, Arnas in district Reasi.
A case has been registered against the accused under FIR No. 62/2024 Under Sections 354, 354-B, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Police Station. Thannamandi.
The arrests were made by a police team under the supervision of SHO Thannamandi, Inspector Hilal Azhar.
