SRINAGAR, Feb 15: Police in Baramulla today said to have arrested two persons and seized two vehicles for illegal mining and excavation of minerals.
Police party from Pattan along with In-charge PP Mirgund under the supervision of SDPO Pattan arrested two persons and seized two vehicles (Tractors) for illegal mining and excavation of minerals at Jheel Bridge Shinghpora, Pattan area of district Baramulla.
They have been shifted to the police station where they remain in custody, police said.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
