JAMMU, Sept 30: Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 500 intoxicants from their possession.
Police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Bishnah police station led by SHO Ajay Singh, laid a naka and intercepted two persons.
During checking, police recovered 500 intoxicant capsules and arrested both the drug peddlers Mulkh Raj alias Billa of Kotli Mian Fateh and Garu Ram of Ward number 13, Bishnah.
A case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and investigation started.
