SAMBA, Feb 11: Vijaypur and Ramgarh police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered intoxicant capsules from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Vijaypur headed by SI Chetan Kumar under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Baljeet Singh and SSP Samba Dr Koshal Sharma during patrolling apprehended a drug peddler along with 275 intoxicant capsules.
The arrested person has been identified as Suraj Paul, son of Balwant Raj of Koulpur, Ramgarh.
A case under FIR Number 21/19 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Ramgarh headed by Inspector Vikas Dogra under the supervision of SSP Samba Dr Koshal Sharma arrested a drug peddler and recovered 210 intoxicant capsules from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Ashok Kumar alias Soki, son of Bajiter Ram of Kamala, Ramgarh.
A case under FIR Number 12/19 under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Ramgarh and investigation started.
