JAMMU, Mar 6: Narwal police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 40 grams heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Narwal Police Post led by SI Khayanti Maan Khajuria and assisted by District Special Branch (DSB) team led by DySP DSB, Zahid Saif Wani apprehended two drug peddlers and recovered 40 grams heroin from their possession.
The arrested persons have been identified as Salman Sajad, son of Sajad Hussain of Umer Mohallah, District Kishtwar, at present Rather Flat Narwal Bala and Imran Khan, son of Abdul Wahid of Kachi Chawni.
A case under FIR Number 64/19 under Section 8/21/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
