JAMMU, July 4: Peer Mitha Police arrested two drug peddlers along with heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Peer Mitha laid a naka and intercepted two persons riding on a vehicle bearing registration number JK02BB-6048 near DC Office crossing.
During checking, police team recovered 7 grams heroin from the possession of rider and pillion rider and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Haider Ali, son of Mohammad Amin and Mukhtair Ahmed, son of Noor Ahmed, both residents of Jagti Nagrota.
A case under FIR Number 41/2021 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made by SHO Peer Mitha Inspector Ajaz Haider under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu.
