JAMMU, June 17: Sidhra Police arrested two drug peddlers along with 450 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Sidhra Police post laid a naka and intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK02BP-0494.
During checking, police team recovered 450 grams cannabis from the possession of two persons riding on the scooty and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Vibhav Gupta, son of Mohan Lal Gupta of Talab Tillo District Jammu and Rajinder Kumar, son of Bansi Lal of Mela Kana Chargal Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 246/2020 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Police Post Sidhra SI Ayoub Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Nagrota Inspector Mohammad Shokat and SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma.
