JAMMU, Feb 22: Miran Sahib police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 10 kilograms poppy straw from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station laid a naka near Kullian and intercepted a truck.
During checking, police recovered 10 kilograms of poppy straw from the vehicle and arrested two persons, who have been identified as Paramjit Singh, son of Netar Singh and Ashok Kumar, son of Kaka Ram, both residents of Ward Number 11, RS Pura.
A case under FIR Number 21/19 under section 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered at Miran Sahib Police Station and investigation started.
