RAJOURI, June 6: Two persons were drowned in two separate incidents in Sunderbani and Nowshera area today.
Official sources said that 19-year- old Renu Devi, daughter of Sham Lal, resident of village Sia in Sunderbani, slipped into a well when she was washing and fetching out a bucket of water. She was drowned and later her dead body was fished out by the villagers.
Young Danish Parvez, son of Bhag Hussain, resident of Tain village in Nowshera, was drowned in a Nallah in the same area today. The youth had gone to the Nallah for taking a bath. Later, his dead body was fished out by the locals. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
