JAMMU, Mar 26: The quest for a technologically aware student base was cultivated further today by the Departments of Electrical and Computer Science & IT, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology as a two – day workshop `Technex’19 by Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, is being organized in collaboration with Innovians Technologies.
The students of BE 4th semester in CSE & IT and 6th Semester students of Electrical Engineering participated in the workshop, which was inaugurated today in the presence of Director, Dr Arvind Devangan, Dean Dr V K Koul , H<oD Computer Sciences and IT Department, Er Dinesh Gupta, HOD Electrical Department ER Loveneesh Talwar and the faculty members.
The formal welcome address was given by Er Sakshi Sharma, Asst Prof of Electrical Engineering Department. Prateek Gupta was the resource persons for the workshop. He is the CEO and founder of Innovians Technologies, worked as senior technical specialist with Honeywell International India Pvt Ltd and worked as online trainer for US Govt. It was a national level workshop series on Internet of Things (IoT) through Arduino.
On the first day, participants were given an insight of microcontroller, Arduino Programming, installation of Arduino Kit with PC, introduction of small projects and various other components used in Arduino kit. The students were fortunate to attend this workshop and participate in the celebration of knowledge and creative extravagance along with the expert from the concerned field. The guests remained highly commemorative of the efforts of the organizing faculty of Electrical, Computer and IT Department for getting the best out these opportunities, which are being provided by YCET.
