PATNITOP, Mar 1: A 2-day Winter Carnival organized by Department of Tourism Jammu with the active participation of Patnitop Development Authority and Hotel Association, Patnitop concluded, here today.
Director Tourism Jammu, R. K Varma was the chief guest on the occasion.
On the concluding day, a scintillating cultural programme was arranged and Kunju-Chanchlo dogri folk Gatha presented by artists of J&K Academy of Art Cultural & Languages was the main highlight which was highly appreciated by the audience.
Chairman Jammu Prayatan Vikas Mandal, Ravi Mahajan presented vote of thanks.
Among others, Joint Director Tourism, Dr. Nirupa Rai, Chief Executive Officer, PDA, Dr. Raman Kesar, District Information Officer, Udhampur, Dr. Ashwani Hansa, Chairman Hotel Bar & Restaurant Association Patnitop, C.K Singh Tara, General Secretary Hotel Bar & Restaurant Association Patnitop, Lovenesh Satha besides officers of Tourism and Patnitop Development Authority, local people and tourists in large numbers were present on the occasion.
