BHADERWAH, Mar 29: Three persons including two cops received injuries, when the escort vehicle of MLA Bhaderwah was hit by a mini-bus near Narnoo village, falling under the jurisdiction of Bhaderwah police station.
As per police sources, the escort vehicle (gypsy) of MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar heading towards Jammu from Bhaderwah was hit by a mini-bus bearing registration number JK06-0934 near Narnoo village, resulting into injuries to three persons including two cops.
After getting information, police team and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah, from where two were airlifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment in the aircraft of Indian Air Force.
The injured have been identified as Sajjad Hussain (driver of gypsy), son of Ghulam Qadir of Jammu, Hukum Singh (constable), son of Sunil Singh of Jammu and Rajinder Singh (civilian), son of Kiker Singh, a resident of Bhaderwah.
A case under FIR number 27/16 under Sections 279 and 337 RPC has been registered at Bhaderwah police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the driver of the mini-bus, who managed to escape from the spot.
