JAMMU, Aug 5: Two persons allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences, while one another failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here today.
As per reports, Rishu Devi, daughter of Sampuran Chand of Gajansoo allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Noticing her unconscious, family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The body was handed over to family members after completion of legal formalities while a case has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason.
In another incident, Sonu, son of Tarlok Nath of village Pindi Chadka, RS Pura made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisons substance at his residence.
Family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) yesterday, where he failed to respond to the treatment and died today. The body was handed over to family members after autopsy.
However, the reason behind such extreme step could not be ascertained, while a case has been registered and investigation started.
Meanwhile, Sudesh, son of Chaman Lal of Barnai failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) today.
As per reports, Sudesh was injured in a road accident, when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a tanker on July 18.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after postmortem, while a case has been registered and investigation started.
