JAMMU, June 4: Khour police today rescued two bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.
As per police sources, a police team from Khour police station laid a naka near Pargwal and intercepted a Tata mobile bearing registration number JK06-1426.
During checking, police rescued 2 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler, who has been identified as Sat Pal, son of Kartar Singh of Garkhal. The driver of the vehicle namely Noor Mohammad of Garkhal managed to escape.
A case under relevant Sections of RPC has been registered at police station Khour and investigation started.
Police team headed by SHO Khour Surinder Raina made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Farooq Qaiser and ASP Jammu ML Kaith.
