DODA, Mar 4: Two bootleggers were arrested today by the police in Doda town.
The arrested bootleggers were identified as Hoshiyar Singh son of Hakam Singh of Bangra Belli and Bachan Singh son of Goru Ram of Bijarni.
They were found selling liquor illegally in their shops near Sah Mohalla and during checking 22 bottles were recovered from the shop of Hoshyar Singh and 9 bottles from the shop/khokha of Bachan Singh.
In this regard, 2 separate cases vide FIR number 33/2020 and FIR number 34/2020 U/S 48(f) have been registered at police station Doda against both the accused persons and further investigation started.
The arrest was made by SHO Doda Muneer Ahmed Khan under the supervision of SDPO Manoj Kumar and SSP Doda Mumtaz Ahmed.
