KATHUA, Oct 13: Two motorcycle borne youth were killed after their bike collided with a bus bearing number JK02AW 0267 at Gujru Nagrota near Billawar today.
The bus was on its way from Jammu to Billawar.
According to police the motor cycle was without number and as it was in high speed when it collided with the bus coming from opposite direction at Gujru Nagrota and both the youth including one who was driving the bike and his pillion rider fell in a pool of blood on road and breathed their last on spot.
The duo was identified as Balbir Singh 23, S/o Karnail Singh and Rajinder Singh, 24, S/o Parkash Singh. Both were residents of Rajwala Billawar.
The driver of the bus identified as Naresh Kumar S/o Nathu Ram of Sukhrala, Billawar was arrested by Ramkote Police and the bus was also seized. The Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law against the driver. The dead bodies were later handed over to the families after conducting postmortem and other legal formalities for last rites.
