REASI, Nov 12: In a family dispute, two youth chopped off hand of an elderly woman at village Kanda Seri in Reasi.
According to Police, the accused persons, namely Rahul Sharma son of Madan Lal and Darshan Lal son of Krishan Lal, both residents of Chapano Reasi, entered the house of Parkasho Devi (55), wife of Dharam Chand, last evening and assaulted her with a sharp-edged weapon.
The accused had some family dispute with the victim and they attacked her when she was alone at the home. The victim was brought to District Hospital Reasi in a serious condition with right hand amputated.
Even as both the accused fled away after committing the crime, Police arrested the due and a case in this connection, under Section 458/307/34/RPC, has been registered at Police Station Reasi.
