UDHAMPUR, May 12: Police today arrested two accused, who were allegedly involved in assault on a contractor of AFCON construction company on Friday last.
According to Incharge SSP Benam Tosh, the arrested accused were identified as Ajay Kumar and Pawan while their third accomplice namely Pappu was still absconding.
Kuldeep Chand of Garnai, a contractor with AFCON company, was allegedly assaulted by the three accused who barged into his room and attacked with sticks on May 10. The victim sustained serious injuries in the assault while the accused fled the scene after committing the crime.
