JAMMU, Mar 10: Bakshi Nagar police arrested two accused, who were wanted in a snatching case.
As per police sources, on March 5 this year, a case under FIR Number Number 39/19 under section 382 RPC was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar regarding snatching of purse containing ATM card and subsequent withdrawal of Rs 80,000 by using the stolen ATM.
During the course of investigation, a team from Bakshi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Amit Sangra rounded up several suspects and finally nabbed two accused involved in the crime.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sourav, son of Ved Paul Sharma of Shakti Nagar and Inzimam Sheikh, son of Abdul Haq Sheikh of Kachi Chawni. Police team also recovered Rs 40,000 on the disclosure of the arrested accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
