RAJOURI, Mar 15: The police team from Chingus Police Post of Rajouri today nabbed an accused wanted in a case and evading his arrest for the last seven years.
The absconder has been identified as Zia Ahmed, son of Ghulam Hussain, a resident of Dhanwan Kote, Rajouri.
He was involved in case FIR No.689/2012 under sections 419/468/471 RPC but was evading his arrest since 2012 and absconding. The police team headed by Incharge PP Chatyar Chingus SI MD Khan arrested the accused. He has been produced before the court of law.
Another absconder namely, Mohammad Shafi, son of Abdul, resident of Tatta Pani Kalakote has been arrested by police team headed by SHO Kalakote, Tahir Khan under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma. He was wanted in case FIR No 42/07 u/s 379 of Darhal Police Station.
