JAMMU, June 2: A branch of 1st Step Tutorial established at Kachi Chawni, Mohalla Narayain, was inaugurated in an impressive function, here today.
State chairman J&K Human Rights Watch BL Kapoor was the chief guest on the occasion who in his speech said that such type of education promoting units are more beneficial for the new generation as the present era is the era of competition.
He further said that the 1st Step Tutorial would help maintaining the better prospects of the children, adding that the Tutorial has been functioning all in the interest of the Nation as also helping the orphans and down-trodden students, who are not able to afford fees, giving them concessional benefits or free education.
“It has also been observed that during the last years, the students from border districts like Rajouri, Poonch and other militancy prone areas have been given education on concessional basis and also provided free education to those who were either orphan or belonged to down-trodden category,” Kapoor added.
