JAMMU, July 24: First female director from Jammu and Kashmir Pixie Mahajan shot a music album in the scenic locations of Sanasar Lake.
Her first song shoot is complete and soon it will be released on a well known OTT (Over the top) platform. The main lead in this cover song is Bollywood actor and producer Arjun Mahajan. The song is produced by Hare Rama Hare Krishna productions. Pixie has casted a local model as the female lead for this song.
Pixie is working in Bollywood currently and has chosen to promote tourism, local actors and scenic locations of her hometown Jammu. Director, actor Pixie Mahajan is a writer as well. She will be shooting her movie “Aprajita: the undefeatable karma” in her hometown with mixed cast from Bollywood and J&K.
She appealed all the filmmakers to shoot in J&K as we have more beautiful locations here compared to abroad. She added, “Why go out if we have everything in India. The crown of India is indeed a heaven on earth. And let’s show the world we too have beautiful scenic locations through our movies and songs.”
Pixie wants to explore the local talent in J&K and give them a chance through auditions. So it is a good news for all the aspiring actors who want to be a part of her venture. The movie will be released on a well known OTT platform.
