19 cattle rescued, 3 arrested

DODA, Mar 10: Police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing 19 cattle and arresting three persons.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Ramban laid a naka and intercepted 4 Kashmir bound vehicles.
During checking, police team rescued 19 bovine animals from the vehicles and arrested three persons, who were identified as Mohd Yousaf, son of Khazar Mohd of Nowgam Banihal District Ramban, Manzoor Ahmad, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Sumber and Jaffer Hussain, son of Jalal Din of Digdol District Ramban.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramban Inspector Sandeep Charak foiled the bovines smuggling bids under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Ramban Pardeep Singh Sen and SP Ramban Mohita Sharma.
